As the organisation continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and capable Masjid Office Manager to oversee daily operations and support the effective coordination of key administrative functions across multiple teams.
Job Overview
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative duties, supporting project financials, and ensuring effective communication between departments, the committee, and members of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain basic bookkeeping records related to project expenses and general income/expenditure.
- Supervise and provide guidance to administrative and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Work alongside the accountant to prepare monthly financial reports accurately and on time.
- Respond to enquiries or complaints from community members in a professional and timely manner.
- Act as a key point of contact for the committee, responding to queries and assisting with ongoing matters.
- Support the smooth running of the masjid by collaborating with the committee on various initiatives.
- Coordinate with shop management to address any unresolved issues and ensure timely financial reporting (income/expenditure).
- Work with the admin team to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations.
- Liaise with the madrassah team to collect and report on madrassah income regularly.
- Handle the distribution and delegation of tasks set by the committee or fellow team members.
- Take full ownership and responsibility of duties assigned, ensuring tasks are completed with diligence and care.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Urdu (beneficial but not essential).
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends, with time off provided in lieu.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to adapt to any work environment and take initiative.
- Strong planning, organisation, and project management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding multitasking and organisational abilities.
- Prior experience in administration or management is advantageous but not essential.
